1. Duck poop 💩/pool water makes great fertilizer. It’s a considered to be cold manure; it can be used right away in your garden! No need to wait X months for it to breakdown.2. Pest control. 🐛 They LOVE to eat snails, slugs, & worms! So at the first sight of a slug or snail infestation… the ducks are more than happy to help! This is the number one reason why I wanted to keep ducks. Last year, I had a horrible slug infestation and it destroyed my potato crops! 😢3. More gentle on the garden than chickens. 🐓 Since ducks have webbed feet, they do not scratch at the ground BUT do protect produce and leaves they can reach… they will absolutely take a nibble! 😅*Bonus*They’re just adorable!!!!
